about me

Philippa Steele is a Tasmanian-based artist who works between public art, installation art and graphic design. Working from home and inspired by a mix of international and domestic adventures, she delights in community living. As an emerging artist she has exhibited several large scale installations, including Make Yourself At Home (2009) at the Moonah Arts Centre and White Wash (2008) at Inflight ARI, alongside prominent Hobart artists. Currently she is employed as graphic designer, as a part of the exhibitions team, at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston.
